Obituary of Virginia Reed

Reed, Virginia M., Homemaker, 77, of Chiefland, passed away on April 11, 2009 at home. She was born in Grand Haven, Michigan and moved to Florida in 1974. Mrs. Reed enjoyed traveling, cross word puzzles and flea marketing. She was always there for her family. Survived by sons, John (Jo) Trudeau, Craag (Lisa) Reed, Terance (Christie) Reed, 3 daughters, Wanda Darling, Tammy Weaver and Celestine Minter, 2 sisters, Linda Cromwell and Judy Morey, 17 grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and her beloved companion dog, Buffy. Preceded in Death by her husband Roger Reed, and an infant son, Dean Darling, 2 brothers, Charles and Ronnie Nearebout. Services will be Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Hiers-Baxley Chapel at 4pm with Pastor Chuck Cook officiating. Visitation will be from 3-4pm at the Funeral Home Chapel 1301 N. Young Blvd. Chiefland, FL.
