Obituary of Henri Bowen

Henri Lee Bowen Mr. Henri Lee Bowen, age 92 of Ocala, Florida, a retired Tile Setter with Seminole Tile Co. in Miami, Fl for 30 years, died Thursday December 31st,2009 at Chambrel at Pinecastle in Ocala, Fl. Mr. Bowen was born in Savannah, GA and moved to Miami, Fl in 1924 and then to Ocala from Miami in 1979. He was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed gardening and especially being around his family and his loving wife hazel of 70yrs. He loved playing poker and smoking cigars and was most proud of his children. A life member of Local 7 union. A veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army Air Corp as a Sergeant with the 317 TCG, 40th Squadron in the Asian-Pacific theater, New Guinea. He is survived by his Wife of 70yrs Hazel Bowen, Ocala; Daughter Karen (John) Zavitz and Daughter Vicky Riggs both of Orlando, Florida; 3 Sons Lee (Donna) Bowen, John Bowen and Charles (Wendy) Bowen all of Ocala, Florida; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 2:00PM.
