Obituary of June Hahlen

June B. Hahlen, age 83, of Ocala, FL passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009. She was born in Alliance, OH on January 24, 1926. She met and married Bill Hahlen and together they raised two girls. June and her family moved to Florida in 1958. After their retirement in 1988 June and her husband moved to Ocala from Fort Lauderdale. June was a Christian and loved the Lord. Her hobbies included sewing and reading. She and her husband enjoyed square dancing for over 30 years and made many good friends. June is survived by her husband of 62 years Bill Hahlen; daughter Kathy Owen and her husband Kenneth; daughter Laurie Ridgway; sister Irene Snyder; three grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. June was very devoted to her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 3:00pm.
