Obituary of Thomas Banister

Tom Banister, age 71, of Ocala, FL passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010. He was born in Arkansas City, KS on April 9, 1938. He was a retired Truck driver. His hobbies included cooking, making jewelry and watching old cowboy movies. Tom loved to work on his friends automobiles and help them with all kinds of handyman repairs. He is survived by his wife Bobbie Banister; sons Tom Banister, Jr., J.D. Banister and Chad Banister King; stepsons Ben Foster and Clint Foster; daughters Toni and Natasha; brothers Jay Banister and Jimmy Banister; sisters Mary Faulkenberg, Jeannie Sanborn and Rita Enderud; numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial gathering will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 10:00am until Noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
