Obituary of Robert Albert Wireman

Wireman, Robert 'Bob', age 77, of The Villages, passed away January 3, 2010 at The Villages Regional Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He retired from Verizon after 23 years as a design draftsman. Bob came to The Villages in 2004 from Newtown Square, PA and resided in summers at Dennisville, Holly Lake, NJ. He was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Community, the VFW Post #10126, Lady Lake, the Billiards Club at Silver Lake, and the Pennsylvania Club. He enjoyed playing pool, billiards, shuffleboard, bowling, working on his computer, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan. Survivors include his wife Charlotte, of The Villages; son John Wireman, Philadelphia, PA; two sisters Gertrude Schockley, Salem, NJ; Ruth Hummel, Stone Mountain, GA, fifteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and his devoted pet and companion, Abby.
