Obituary of Rogelio Rolando Sosa

Rogelio R. Sosa, 85, died July 26, 2011 at his residence. He was born on November 24, 1925 to Otilio & Fidelina (Galvez) Sosa at Cuba. In December, 1950 he married Ramona Oristela at Cuba. She survives to cherish his memory. Rogelio was a former owner and operator of family restaurants. Family was important to Rogelio, and always came first. He was proud of his children, and enjoyed the time he could spend with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rogelio had a gift of making friends feel like family, and he cherished his relationships he made with them. Even though times could get tough, he always had a smile on his face, and was ready to help anyone who was in need. Surviving Rogelio is his wife, Ramona. His children; Maritza Marcano, Rolando Sosa, Rogelio Sosa, and Alexis Obregon. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 2 pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Ocala, with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park.
