Obituary of Bruce Mumbauer

THE VILLAGES — Bruce Mumbauer, 85, died Sunday, July 31, 2011. Mr. Mumbauer was born in Norristown, Pa. and moved to The Villages in 2003. He served in the Navy, he was a member of the Zwingli United Church of Christ in Souderton, Pa., American Legion Post 347 and The Villages Bicycle Club. He was an avid bicyclist and skier and he enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing and golfing. Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Mumbauer, The Villages; son, Todd D. Mumbauer, Phoenix; daughters, Vicki L. Van Wert, Mertztown, Pa., and Jill S. Rank, Salenas, Ecuador; brother, Russell Mumbauer of Hatfield, Pa.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in The Villages. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County, P.O.
