I remember playing Softball with Brandi and hearing Momma Duke Linda in the background cheering us on. She has always been a great supporter to all those around her. In memory of a great mother, grandmother, and friends. I love you Momma Dukes...

I'm so sorry I never meet Linda but I feel I knew her through my brother and her facebook postings. The way she passed was tragic, horrible and unforgiveable but I know in my heart she is with the Lord now and he will expose her murders for us. My heart goes out to her family and you are in my prayers. "Justice For Linda"

I love you with all my heart and soul, our memories i'll never let them go. I think about you everyday, and all the jokes we used to say. I would call you old, and you would call me fat but there was nothing ever wrong with that, because we would laugh and joke about those things, they were never meant to be real mean. Your were not only my mom, but my best friend in the world, I was your 3rd, your little baby girl. You were so gorgeous and full of light, and i'll sit here and think of you every night. I love you mommy from my whole entire heart, and i'll keep your memory alive, your soul and mine will NEVER part.

A little piece of my heart has died along with you. You were my first best friend when I moved to Florida when I was 8. We lived right behind each other. WOW, do we have history! Linda, I have typed and erased a million things here, and have come to the conclusion, I am just speechless. I cannot put into words all you mean to me. There is so much in my mind I am thinking about you....You were truly a gift from God to me. Glad we got to spend some time together before you left us. I am praying they will find out who did this to you soon. And I am praying for your family...I miss you girlfriend!!!

Linda was a ONE of a KIND person. I met her 9yrs ago when our daughter Brittany was 3yrs and Nick was 4. They did some therapy together, then Linda and I homeschooled together and HAD FUN W/ THE KIDS :0 then we moved onto PLAYING BASEBALL on a challenger league....We had so much FUN.....(yes the kids did too, but so did Linda and I)...we always RAN the bases w/ the kids and had fun....even when the other parents didnt we did.....we use to LAUGH and call the other parents "the chair club" ahah....their kids were in school all DAY and here we had OUR own special needs kids HOME w/ us all day long and we STILL had fun at baseball ;).....Linda always had a SMILE one that would light up a room.....she always had "witty" comments and made me giggle all the time.....ONE THING ABOUT LINDA.....she was EVER SO PROUD of Casie, Brandi and Cody as well as each and everyone of her grandkids....but she so LOVED her kids ;).....Linda, Julianna and I planned to go to VEGAS one year to celebrate our birthdays(since we never take time for ourselves we wanted to do something DIFFERENT and fun)......Linda it HURTS to know your gone, but I think it HURTS more knowing someone did this to you ;(.....it breaks my heart.... I hope whoever did this to you....I HOPE YOU WERE ABLE TO FIGHT THEM...cause you ALWAYS faught for Nick and his rights you NEVER GAVE UP!!!!...I love you....and will miss you....you were my ROCK!!!!! xoxoxooxox.....may you rest in peace linda and WE PRAY they find who did this to you so your kids/grandkids can have PEACE.....we love you....Mike, Denise, Brittany and Jasmine :) <3

MOMMY I MISS YOU SO MUCH WITH ALL OF MY HEART AND SOUL. I MISS YOUR SMILE AND HOW WE ALWAYS MADE JOKES AND MADE EACH OTHER LAUGH. I WAS A HYPER KID BUT YOU EVER EVER HIT ME, AND IF YOU WOULD YELL AT ME, ABOUT TWO SECONDS LATER YOU WOULD COME GIVE ME A HUG AND KISS. I COULD TAKE PUNCHES TO THE FACE FROM DAD BUT I COULD NEVER HAVE YOU MAD AT ME. YOUR MY BEST FRIEND, ILL NEVER STOP LOOKING MOMMY

We met each other in Jr High best friends from the start. We were always together it seems. Walking to school, making each other laugh, going to the beach. I didn't call her enough, but when we did talk it was like we had never missed a day. We were BFF's to the bone. Never a day went by that I didn't think about you....you changed my life. Please God, take good care of her...our angel

Linda, I have known you ever since you and I were in the same second grade class...Miss McCory's class at West Hollywood Elementary School. I remember we still spoke at Apollo Middle and McArthur High, we lost touch over the years and, like many of my friends from the past, we reconnected on Facebook! The greatest thing about Facebook is being able to see how we have all done with our lives since high school, and I got to see what a wonderful mother and grandmother you were, especially to Nick, who you dedicated so much of your life to! I know that could not have been easy, but you did it anyway! We are all sad that none of us will ever get the opportunity to see you or talk to you again, we will all miss you and the cheerful posts you would make on Facebok! I know that you are truly one of God's angels up there now watching over all of us, and that is what we will all take comfort in now!

I first met Linda in elementary school and were friends ever since, my favorite memory of Linda was when we were in middle school with Rachel and this other girl Pat Ralleigh and we walked off with a case of the worlds finst chocolate and we all went back to Linda's house and piged out. After high school we lost touch and hooked up again on face book only to find out that my daughter and her grand daughter were in the same class, talk about a small world. Last time I saw Linda was at her 50th birthday party. Linda thanks for being an amazing friend, I'll always treasure our childhood memories.
I love you and will never forget you. You will be missed. Rest in peace Linda.
Love ya Margie Rosenthal Finnk.
