Obituary of Karen Lynne Benfield

Karen L. Benfield born November 6, 1942 to Alan and Katherine Brethorst in Joliet, IL, died in Ocala, FL on August 4, 2011 at her home. She moved to Ocala in 1976 from Joliet, IL and was employed as an Office Manager, she enjoyed reading and listening to Classical, Gospel and Country Music, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Benfield is Survived by her Husband Earnest S. Benfield of Ocala,FL; Daughters Kimberly Allen of Silver Springs, Fl and Kelly Church of Pinellas Park, FL; Step-Son Jeffrey Wayne Eury of Mt.Pleasant, NC; Brother Allen Brethorst of Charlotte, MI; Sister LuAnne McCabe of Pinellas County, FL; Grandchildren Nicole and Zachary; Great Grandchildren Andrea and Andre. A Celebration of life Service will be held on Saturday August 13,2011 at 1:00PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala,FL 34470.In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
