Jack will always hold a special place in our hearts! He loved his family and was a great man to have known. We will always remember Jack, his love of life, his humor, kindness, and his special way with people. He loved to tell a story, especially one that had to do with "fishing"! He was a great friend and cousin whose memory will never die! He will be missed by all who knew him!

Mr. Jack... I will always remember when you & Buster were building my parents house and how you became such a wonderful friend of my Dads & Moms. As well as my whole families! That you always had a smile on your face, a spring to your walk, and a story to tell. It was a honor & privelage to call you a friend.... So this candle is lit in your memory now & forever!

One of my favorite family memories was when it was decided that instead of buying our Christmas exchange gift the following year, we were going to make them. The names drawn and I got Uncle Jack's! I was so excited....even though I had no idea what the heck I was going to make. (I never inherited any of the talents in this family!) Finally, after months...and months...of deliberation, I knew. I was going to build him a tackle box. There was a lot of pressure, him being such a great carpenter and all, but I knew how much he loved fishing and that he loved me, so I felt he would be happy no matter how bad I messed up. Well...I don't know if he ever used it, but he dang sure acted happy and proud of the work I had done...just like I knew he would! He was awesome like that. :)
And to top off my favorite memory...Aunt Earline drew MY name. She hand made me a wall-hanging of hot-air balloons floating in a cotton-white sky. It was so perfect and lovely!
That was the best family Christmas ever!!!
I love you Uncle Jack. I know you're at peace...and in good company. Say hi to mom for me! :)

I remember him getting to hold Taylor his great granddaughter for the first time and he just wanted to look at her! He was so gentle with her. We love you very much Gandad and miss you!
