Obituary of Edwin Convoy

Edwin C. Convoy, age 73, passed away on August 4, 2011 at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala. Mr. Convoy was a retired Sergeant Major in the Army. He enjoyed traveling, and old cars. Mr. Convoy was Episcopalian by faith. He was a member of the VFW, A.M. Vets, and the American Legion. Mr. Convoy served his country in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Era. He moved to Ocala from Ogdensburg, N.Y. in 1993. Mr. Convoy leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth of Ocala, two daughters Hope Convoy of Kentucky, and Beth Convoy of Tennessee. Four Step-sons George Smithers of Dennis MA, Gregory Smithers of Ogdensburg, N.Y., Mark Smithers of Silver Springs, Fl., Cory Smithers of Ogdensburg, N.Y., and Four Grandchildren.
