Obituary of Ralph E. Thoresen

Ralph E. Thoresen was born December 1, 1927 to Roy and Louise Thoresen in St. Petersburg, Fl and died on August 10, 2011 in Ocala, Fl at Estelle's Hospice House. Mr. Thoresen moved to Ocala from Seminole, Fl in 1984 and was a Sales Manager for Ace Hardware Stores of Florida and received many Sales Awards during his long career. Mr. Thoresen enjoyed Gardening, Yard work and collecting Baseball Cards. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and always having a smile on his face. He was most proud of his family and the many accomplishments of his children. Mr. Thoresen is survived by his wife of 49 yrs Mary of Ocala; His Children Eric "Ric" (Sherry) Thoresen of Summerfield, Fl; Tracy (Mike) Beam of Olive Branch, MS; Sue (Ron) Lehmann of Lawrenceville, GA; Chuck Thoresen of Columbus, Ohio; Ralph E. (Stephanie) Thoresen, Jr. of Dunedin, Fl; Grandchildren, Erin, Riley, Regan,Jennifer, Bryan, Chanoah, Autumn, Sally and Travis; and a Great Grandson James. Mr. Thoresen was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Louise and a Brother Roy Charles. Visitation will be from 6-8PM Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, Fl with a Graveside Funeral Service being Conducted on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 10:00AM with Chaplain Robert Murray, Officiating at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala, Fl, Friends may contribute to The Humane Society of Marion County in Memory of Mr. Thoresen.
