Hi family of Kate -
I was sorry to hear of Kate's death. I knew her when she was a little girl. I am Kathy Corcoran's godchild. I knew Kate when she first came to Kathy and Joe. I was an art student at Providence College, and did a pastel portrait of Kate as a little girl. We had a good time, and she was sitting the same way in the pastel as she is in this picture on site of her. God Bless. I always liked her.

I MET KATE BACK IN 1999 WHEN I FIRST BECAME EMPLOYED AT ARC. SHE TAUGHT ME GREAT TOOLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE BUISNESS. THE ONE THING I WILL NEVER FORGET IS SHE WAS ALWAYS FAIR TO ALL HER EMPLOYEES. SHE NEVER TREATED ME DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF MY LIFESTYLE.
AND WHEN I MET CHARLIE, OH BOY, THEY WERE DEFINATELY A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN..THE FUNNIEST COUPLE I EVER MET.
WE HAD BEEN IN AND OUT EACH OTHERS LIVES THESE PAST 12 YEARS THROUGH BUSINESS AND FRIENDSHIP. NO MATTER HOW LONG OF A SPACE WE ALWAYS PICK UP WHERE WE LEFT OFF.
I DID HAVE AN OPPURTUNITY TO VISIT KATE IN THE MIDDLE OF HER ORDEAL. HOWEVER, I FEEL SO BAD THAT I DIDNT GET ONE MORE CHANCE TO TELL HER HOW SHE HAS HAD A PART IN TOUCHING MY LIFE. MAY GOD BLESS HER HUSBAND AND GIRLS WHO HAVE GROWN UP TO BE BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADIES. RIP KATE

I met Kate and Charlie approximately 8 years ago and instantly fell in love with them and their sense of humor. They are a beautiful couple who always made me laugh and smile. Their dedication to their work has always amazed me. Kate even though we lost touch for the most part, I thought of you often. I pray that you are resting safely in Gods hands. Having spent many years looking for my long lost sister, I admit I was nervous and a little worried about what she would be like. Less than 10 minutes into our first call, all of my doubts faded away as I had found truly, someone that felt and acted as I did.
Kate and I had heated conversations when we didn't agree on something, and was always a shock when she would stop mid sentence to laugh at how "different but the same" we were. If she had a shortcoming, it was in her miniature golf game as she laughed to hard and wouldn't concentrate.
While I wish we had found each other sooner, the time we did get to spend together seemed like we had always been together. I am going to miss (already do) the ability to pick up the phone and ramble on about work, family, never politics :) and the normal day to day things that tend to bring people down. Kate's ability to bring a smile during even the worst times was a rare gift.
While our converstations covered any and all topics imaginable, it was when she was talking about Charlie, the girls, and the grandkids that the room would light up. They were her world. Kate made sure to let them know she loved them, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them.
Kate was extremely protective of those she loved, going out of her way to help even when it meant hardships for herself. Her last trip north to see her Mom brought a smile to Katherine's face that is still present today.
I am blessed and thankful for the time I got to spend with my sister Kate, and know that she is sitting with Joe looking down on all of us.
Love You Sis!! You are and will always be in my heart.

To have just one more of our little chats. We always seemed to run into each other everywhere and end up standing and talking for an hour (or longer) like when we ran into each other in the Super Walmart in Starke! It got to be so normal to bump into one another at the weirdest places. I guess we were defined to be in each others lives no matter what! What all of you dealt with this last year has seemed so very unfair to me, but you managed to keep everyone going through it all!
