Obituary of Mary Delaine Grobe

Mary Delaine Grobe, 73 of Ocala, died August 11, 2011. She was born to Paul Wilson and Mary Hansen -Wilson, July 24, 1938 in Chicago, IL. Mary is survived by her husband, William "Pete" Grobe; son, Christopher M.L. Dwyer of Ocala; daughters, Jennifer (husband Mark) Folsom of Ocala, and Erin Bennington of Ocala; brother, William Wilson, IL; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mary was a foster parent for more than 25 years and loved and nurtured more than 70 children. She was an avid animal lover. She was a volunteer for more than 5 years at both Munroe and Ocala Regional hospitals. Mary loved her children and family as she loved the Lord. She was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church and helped with her church day care for more than 25 years. A Memorial Service to honor the life of Mary will be at 4:00 PM, Friday, August 19, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
