Obituary of Barbara V. Bridges

Bridges, Barbara V. OCALA- Barbara Louise Bridges, 77, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Barbara was born in Palatka, Fl. On January 6, 1934. She was a pharmacy technician. She loved basketball, football and baseball, and her family most of all. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Effie Mae ( Leaptrot) Varnadoe of Palatka, brothers James, Marion, Dalton Varnadoe and Robert Penouilh. She is survived by her brothers Rev. Harry Varnadoe and Richard Varandoe of Palatka, sisters Mary MacDonald of Palatka and Betty Golden of Ocala, son Kevin (Cathy) Bridges of Ocklawaha, daughter Keri (Skip) Price of Belleview, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Viewing is at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala Chapel, 910 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 2:00 - 3:00PM and the Committal to follow at Highland Memorial Park at 3:30PM.
