Obituary of Charles R. Morrissey

Morrissey, Charles R. 89 Jesus came and called Charles Raymond Morrissey to his eternal home on August 18, 2011. Mr. Morrissey was a truck driver, an avid golfer, and moved to Ocala from Fairfield, CT in 1989. Mr. Morrissey was of the Catholic faith and a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WWII. Mr. Morrissey is pre deceased by his daughter, Karen Netopski and survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marie Dustin Morrissey of Ocala, FL; daughters Linda Hendricks of Largo, FL and Susan Troidle of Chesterfield, VA; son Charles Morrissey, Jr. of Norwalk, CT; sister Josephine Ekelund of Newtown, CT; 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services TimberRidge with Dr. Raymond A. Waite officiating, followed by inurnment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with Military Honors provided by Angela Santos VFW Post #4781 of Ocala.
