Obituary of Richard J. Melotte

THE VILLAGES — Richard J. Melotte, 76, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011. Mr. Melotte was born in Green Bay, Wis. He retired from Wisconsin Public Service Corp.; was an avid golfer; coached softball games; was a member of the Wisconsin Club; St. Mark's Catholic Church, Summerfield; and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Anne; daughters, Molly Beining, Greenleaf, Wis., Maggie Melotte, Healy, Alaska; three grandchildren; brothers, Michael, Patrick, Thomas, Teddy; and sisters, Mary Kropp, Katy Umentum, Judy Cisler, Susie Kaster, Peggy Snyter. Visitation will be held 4-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services-The Villages. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services-The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.
