I have known Faye since 1989 when she and Herb came to our Silent Neighbors Deaf Club. Over the years she served as secretary, trustee, a board member. What a great and loyal leader she is! She had a great sense of humor. Always smiling and making jokes! Funny and happy lady! She will be missed by all of us. May she rest in peace eternally.

I missed not see her since I moved up to Washington state over one and half years ago. I probably chat with her on videophone few months ago just before she become sick. Aunt Faye had the best sense of humor :) She was always smiling and making jokes. She never let her lack of hearing nor my lack of sign language become a barrier. She always showed patience with us as we talked by spelling eveything out, the she would show us the sign for what we spelled out. We always know the sign for "I Love You" because she showed it to us frequently! What a great party they are having in Heaven!

About 35 years ago I was dating with Faye's brother John. He brought me to meet Faye and her family. I never forget how loving and warm Faye was. I felt "at home" with Faye. I saw how loyal she had been to her family. I was glad to have her as my sister in law when I was married to John. I am so sorry that she had lung cancer. I hope she didn't suffer too much. May she rest in peace eternally.
