Obituary of Eleanor Florence Hooton

SUMMERFIELD — Eleanor F. Hooton, 79, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011. Mrs. Hooton was born in Paterson, N.J., and moved to Summerfield from Janesville, Minn., in 1998. She was retired from IBM Corporation; and was an Episcopalian by faith. Survivors include her husband, Don Terry; son, Jeffrey L., Wilmington, Mass.; daughters, Donna Orlando, Red Hook, N.Y., Leslie Fine, Ponte Vedra Beach; brother, Ronald Romano, Jupiter; and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County Inc.
