Obituary of Ruth L. Gleason

LADY LAKE — Ruth L. Gleason, 84, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011. Ms. Gleason was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved from Illinois more than 20 years ago. She was a retired accounting clerk for General Mills, past president of General Mills Girl Club, past secretary and treasurer of General Mills Bowling, and enjoyed her days playing golf. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Bell, Navarre; two grandsons; sister, Arla; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages.
