Obituary of Dorothy Jo Bergquist

Dorothy "Dotty" Jo Bergquist Born September 16, 1940 in Miami, FL; died August 27, 2011 in Belleview, FL from a brief illness. Dotty was a member of the Methodist faith. She was born to Newyl and Joseph Pluta. She graduated from North Miami High School in 1958. Dotty enjoyed gardening, baseball, and college football and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, in addition to being a member of the Fraternal Order of The Eagles. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Berg of Auburn, WA; sons, James of High Springs, FL, and Thomas of Eufaula, AL; three grandsons; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. Dotty was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Evert S. in 1992. Graveside service Wednesday, August 31, 2011 1PM in Belleview Cemetery, Belleview, FL.
