I have known James since we started at Gold Kist Poultry about 12 years ago. I felt it a privilege to be his friend all these years. He and I co-chaired the Ergonomics committe and rode together for several hours to a seminar. He loved the Lord,we sang old gospel songs, prayed and had great fellowship. I feel like a better person for knowing him. I have no doubt where he is residing now. May God bless the family that will miss him greatly.

Laura I met you and your children at the scrapbook store a few years ago. A couple of years later I met James when we worked together at Supervalu. I saw a photo of your children on James's desk and commented to him that his children looked familiar. We eventually connected that I had met your children.

I knew Mr. Meritt from our office, Capital Resources, he was a fine man, always friendly, polite. He asked me the last time he was in to remember him in Prayer.
