Obituary of Roger A. Wagner

Roger A. Wagner, 59, died Monday, September 12, 2011, near Seattle, Washington. He had spent 20 years as an accountant for the Navy, retiring to Ocala in 1994 from his job at a base in Indiana, of which he was a native. After some other ventures, he settled on becoming a real estate appraiser. Roger had for years been a hiking enthusiast, having traversed the trails in the Rockies, the Grand Canyon and the Shenandoah Mountains. Besides hiking, he was an avid camper, a regular walker in his neighborhood and more recently a cycling enthusiast. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Ocala, where a memorial service has been scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday.
