Mr. Duda was my sixth grade teacher at Lincoln School. It was the year Kennedy was shot. I can't remember what I learned from books that year, but I remember many things about the way the class was run, singing along with Mr. Duda and his guitar the last few minutes of the day, and introducing him to my father at parent's night. I realize now he was one of those teachers who helped form my life. Thanks for a life well lived.... The class of 1970 fb blog was just talking about Mr. Duda a few weeks ago. Some of us remembered him as a teacher, others as the Rockette coach. All remembered him fondly, with great respect. One classmate remembered when he brought in a tv for us to watch history being made the awful day in Dallas. Mr. Duda talked with us without talking down to us. Betsy Winters Dallas, Texas
