When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me. I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, and each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand. And said my place was ready in heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind, all those dearlly love. But as I turned to walk away; a tear fell from my eye. For all life, I'd always thought I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for, so much yet to do, It seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad. I thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while, I'd say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized that this could never be, for emptiness and memories would now take the place of me. So when tomorrow starts with me, don't think we're far apart, for everytime you think of me I'm right here in your heart.
I will truly miss you Bahama Mama...lol that was my little name for you Mrs. Britt. Love You

I've known Britt for 50 years. What great fun she was - sharp, witty. When she went on vacation to Denmark she sent back cards telling the weather in centigrade, just to make me work for it. The little smarty-pants.
In school she took choir for 4 years and had a beautiful voice. She also loved to dance.
At Christmas, Britt, her mother and her three sisters would bake maybe 50 different varieties of cookies. The tins were everywhere. Yummers!
Once we were renting a tri-level house and I managed to lock us out of it. It took us about 10 minutes to find a window not locked and we broke into our own place. Kinda scared us how easily we had pulled that off.
One winter we parked at the mall and while we were inside it snowed. We had to wait until the mall closed to find the car. The snow had covered everything and we didn' remember exactly where we had parked.
Britt's folks had many friends that performed at the circuses in the Chicagoland area. One time, Britt asked if I wanted to meet the bears. Ta-da, the whole act of bears - sitting in the trailor right in the driveway.
With Britt, life was always a little brighter. You know what I mean?

I first met Britt with Nat at the Seabreeze, she was having her usual "long island tea". She was fixing to go back to school, she wanted to be a teacher. It wasn't easy for her, but she hung in there and studied like crazy. She loved teaching the kids, I do not believe there is a child in Cedar Key that she didn't know and love. But her favorite kids were her two grandchildren, John David and Evy. I made a promise to her when she first got sick, that I would always watch out for them. I WILL keep that promise Britt! I love you and I miss you, you will always be my best friend!!!!

Britt was such a delight! She would come to the pizza shop to visit. She always said...don't mind me...I just love seeing the shop doing so well! She said that Mr & Mrs Holman would be very pleased. As people came to order she would let folks know that everything on the menu was great! We would sit and visit, laugh, she would share stories that we always loved to hear about the history of the Holman home and General Store. She was a wealth of knowledge! I don't think she ever met a stranger, she would strike up a conversation with anyone and have fun doing it. Miss Britt, we love you and will deeply miss you but carry on the memories that you have shared. Her face always lit up when talking about her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.
We love you and you will always be in our heart! Dave & Cris Feigin
