Karl Frederick Schmiedeke Karl Frederick Schmiedeke died September 20, 2011 in Leesburg, FL. He was born September 19, 1934 in North Sanford, NY. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and spent most of his time in International Marketing and Real Estate. Mr. Schmiedeke moved from Charlotte, NC to the The Villages in 2006. Karl was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Schmiedeke of The Villages, FL; daughter, Kimberly Schmiedeke of Oxford, NJ; sons, Eric Schmiedeke and wife Paige of Allamuchy, NJ and Joel Schmiedeke of Cape Town, SA; sister, Helen Ely of West Henrietta, NY; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
