Obituary of Vincent S. Mazzurco

MAZZURCO, VINNY Mr. Vincent S. Mazzurco, Sr., 51, of Ocala, passed away Wednesday, September 21st as the result of a car accident. Mr. Mazzurco was born November 1, 1959 in Bronx, NY to Mary and Joseph Mazzurco, into a large and loving family. He moved to Ocala in 1977 and started in the insurance business in 1978. Mr. Mazzurco was an active member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, member of the Endowment Committee, Pre Cana, active supporter of the Boy Scouts of America Troup #172. He served as President of both the NAIFA and FAIFA, Board President of Ocean East Resort, planning committee for Trinity Catholic High School, and served and supported countless other organizations. Vinny was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sueanne Mazzurco; sons, Vincent Jr, Giovanni, Juliano, and Nicholas Mazzurco; parents Joseph and Mary Mazzurco; Brothers Andy (Dee), Joseph (Sheila), and Michael (Dawn) Mazzurco; Mother-in-law Jane Evans; Brother-in-law David (Dori) Evans; Sisters-in-law Donna (Bob) Mclean, Nancy Wilson, and Kelly Kanir; nieces and nephews Rocco and Maria Mazzurco; Michael, A.J., Anthony, and Rachel Mazzurco; Joe-Joe Mazzurco; David, Chris, and Loni Evans; Custis, Tyeler, and Jordyn Mclean; Garret, Wade, and Austin Dunn; Julie, Mike, Brian, and Casey Evans; and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held, Monday, September 26, 5pm-8pm at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church with Prayer Service at 7:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 27 at 1pm with Father Pat Sheedy officiating. Committal services will follow at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Catholic High School Endowment Fund, Trinity Catholic High School Lacrosse, or Boy Scout Troup #172.
