Obituary of James Landon Taylor II

James Landon Taylor, II went home to be with his Heavenly Father, September 22, 2011. He was born to Rush Bege and Carrie Jane McCoy Taylor, February 29, 1920 in Thomas, Kentucky. He cherished his family and also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening and walking. Landon was a WWII Army veteran serving in the 178th Combat Engineers. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Lakie Taylor of Ocala, FL; Daughters Lanise Weidle (Charles) of Middletown, OH and Loretta Leach (Doug) of Versailles, KY. Son, James Landon Taylor, III (Catherine), Ocala, FL. 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Brothers James Moses Taylor of Coal Grove, OH and Lloyd Taylor of Ft. Worth, TX. A Funeral Service in honor of Landon will be 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church with a visitation 1 hour prior to services. 14748 N.
