Obituary of Suannette May Dowling
Suannette "Sue" May Dowling, 73, passed away, Saturday, September 24, 2011, in Spring Hill, FL. Sue was born in Rockford, IL and graduated from North Park College and Rockford College. She owned and operated Su-Ramics Ceramic Studio in Torrance, CA. Sue and Noble retired to Spring Hill, FL 10 years ago.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Spring Hill, the First United Methodist Women's Fellowship and the Red Hat Society at Wellington of Spring Hill. She enjoyed visiting Maui every year, was an avid reader and continued with ceramics in Spring Hill.
Sue is survived by her husband of 53 years, Noble F. Dowling, Spring Hill; daughter, Tracey (Denby) Baird, Enid, OK; sisters, Natalyn (Jacq) Collins, Menomonie, WI, Alonna (Michael) Kogol, Plano, IL; granddaughter, Sarah (Aaron) Bennett, Chillicothe, OH and great granddaughter, Libby Bennett. She was preceded in death by her son Noble Jon Dowling, May, 2007.
Memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 2, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Spring Hill with Rev. Michael Oliver and Rev. Anthony Caruna officiating.
