Obituary of James Richard Wiseman

James Richard Wiseman, 85, passed away September 27 surrounded by family. He was born on September 6, 1926 in Defiance, Ohio to Boyd & Thelma Wiseman. He married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Moore January 4, 1945 in Defiance. James served for the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was a journeyman lineman and a project engineer for Toledo Edison in Defiance. James and Margaret moved to Florida in 1953, where he later became a project engineer for Florida Power, now Progress Energy. He retired in 1984. James was of the Christian faith. He is survived by Margaret, daughter; Jamie Bentley of St. Pete, FL, sons; David of St. Pete, FL, Paul of Ocala, and James of Brooksville, FL., sister; JoeAnn Foor of Defiance, OH. Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; daughter, Cathy Jo Wiseman, sisters; Wilma Jean, Leona Mae, & Joyce Ann. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Humane Society of Marion County, a no kill facility, P.O.
