Kash, Mary Ellen Mary Ellen Kash nee Slama, died October 1, 2011. She was born to Bernard L. Slama and Elizabeth Brancato Slama, June 10, 1952 in Elmont, New York. She moved to Ocala in 2001 from Long Island, NY. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Walter James Kash, Jr.; Son, Walter James Kash, III of Ocala, FL; Grandchild, Aubrey Leellen Kash; Sister, Barbara Slama of St. Louis, MO; Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law; In-laws, Walter James Kash, Mary Theresa Kash. Preceded in death by her parents, Bernard L. and Elizabeth Slama. Mary leaves behind her beloved pugs, Tia, Kira and her favored pet Lucy. Mary cherished her family and was devoted to her work as an accountant. In honor of Mary, a Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Funeral service at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2011.
