Obituary of Maynard S. Mason

Maynard S. Mason, 82 of Newberry, FL., passed away on October 3, 2011. Mr. Mason was formerly of Oak Grove Village in Trenton, FL., recently moving to Newberry. He was born on March 1, 1929 in Turner, Maine. Maynard was a Heavy Equipment Operator in Highline Construction in Connecticut. He retired to Florida 20 years ago. He enjoyed providing Lawn Mower services to his friends and neighbors in Oak Grove Village. He was an avid reader of Suspense and Mystery novels. He loved his family and enjoyed pampering his little dog, "Lolly". Survivors are his companion, Ruby Pierce of Newberry, FL. , a daughter Cheryl (Bill) Smith of Kent, CT., a son, Mark W. Mason, of New Milford, CT., a brother Harley Mason , a sister, Janet Collins, 4 grand children, and 5 great grand children. There will be no local services or calling hours. The family will be planning a private service in Connecticut at a later date.
