Burkholder, Phyllis Jean
Phyllis Jean Burkholder, 76 of Ocala, Florida, died October 3, 2011. She was born to George Carney Partin, II and Francis Jean Rode Partin, August 6, 1935 in Tampa, Florida. Survived by her daughter, Valecia Burkholder Walker of Ocala, FL; One grandchild, Candee Walker of Ocala, FL; A great-grandson, Jerry Johnson and great-granddaughter, Chelsea Johnson; One brother George C. Partin and wife Diana, of Jacksonville, FL; Bonnie Tripp, niece and Craig Partin, nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Burkholder. Phyllis cherished her family and loved being a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, and was passionate about her animals. Phyllis and her husband, Mr. "B" were the former owners of the Ocala Landmark, 1890 Beef House Restaurant in Ocala. She was a private person who enjoyed the simple things of life. A Memorial Service in honor of Phyllis will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2011 in the chapel at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL.
