Obituary of Virginia Etheredge

ETHEREDGE, VIRGINIA Salt Springs - Virginia Etheredge, 85, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 at Oakhurst Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Loretto, Tennessee and moved to Ocala in 1951. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Ocala. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Sidney A. Etheredge, Sr. of Salt Springs, her daughters, Jean Etheredge and Betty Biggs and her husband David, both of Ocala, her sons, Butch Etheredge and his wife Grace Mary of Ocala and Chuck "Rusty" Etheredge and his wife Deanna of Salt Springs, her brother, Ray Southerland of AL, her grandchildren, Douglas Etheredge, Belinda Biggs Burton, Chad Biggs, Tim Baker, Sean Etheredge and Jennifer Klix and her great grandchildren, Connor, Landon, Liam, Noah and Keaton Burton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd. with Dr. Jesse D. Bloom officiating. Visitation will be at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn. or Hospice of Marion County.
