Obituary of Louis Baccoli

Louis Baccoli, 95, of Ocala, FL went home to Heaven from his home in Ocala, FL on Wednesday, October 6, 2011. Born in Pittsfield, MA on February 23, 1916, son to the late Angelo and Maria (Marchi) Baccoli, he was a lifelong resident there until moving to Ocala in 1976. For many years, until his retirement he was a factory worker with General Electric, Pittsfield. He loved gardening and while living in MA he loved picking mushrooms. Louis loved the time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Carmella in 2008 and several siblings. Louis is survived by his loving daughter Joan Gromatski, Ocala, FL; grandchildren Bonnie M. Reynolds, Brandon, FL and Edward L. Gromatski of Tallahassee, FL; great-grandchildren, Philip, Nicolas and Alex Reynolds and Carter Gromatski; brother Dauro Baccoli of Pittsfield, MA. and many nieces and nephews. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 9695 SW 110th St. Ocala, FL 34481. A memorial service for Louis and his wife Carmella will be held at a later date from the Kelly's Funeral Home of Lee, MA followed with inurnment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lee, MA.
