Obituary of Christopher Thompson

SUMMERFIELD, FL -Thompson, Christopher, 37, of Summerfield passed away October 8, 2011. Mr. Thompson was born July 9, 1974 in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and moved to Summerfield from Gainesville in 2010. He was a manual laborer in the construction industry. Some say he was a computer and technology whiz. He loved playing online poker, recording music, and getting together with family for cookouts and holidays. He especially loved the time he shared with his daughter, Mariah, his greatest accomplishment. Christopher is survived by his daughter, Mariah Thompson; her mother, Amanda Thompson, both of Gainesville, FL; his parents, Robert and Debra Funk, Belleview, FL; sister, Davida Johnson, Ocala, FL; step-brother Ryan Funk, Ocala, FL; and maternal grandparents Paul and Patricia Comp, Summerfield, FL.
