Born on September 23, 1940 in Manchester, CT, son of the late Victor Emil and Ellen Elizaberh (Hills) Ofiara, he moved to Ocala, FL in 2006 from Jupiter, FL. John is survived by his Beloved Wife of 48 years, Nancy Ofiara of Oak Run, Ocala, FL; son Eric John Ofiara his wife Jennifer and their daughter Erin Elizabeth Ofiara all of Marietta, GA and his daughter Kirsten Anne Ofiara of Jupiter, FL; John's mother-in-law Edith Bissell of Ocala, FL; brother-in-law Roger Bissell and his wife Linda of Tolland, CT. and niece Brenda Waterhouse and husband Matt and their children Maya and Corey, all of Coventry, CT and nephew Scott Bissell, MD and wife Kristen Bissell, MD and their children Elia and Olivia, all of Glastonbury, CT. and his favorite feline Miss Kitty!!
