Obituary of William W. Lotz

Major William W. Lotz, USMC (Ret) Born January 30, 1922 in Pottsville, PA; died October 9, 2011 in The Villages, FL, age 89 years. Major Lotz came to The Villages in 1996 from Broomall, PA and was a member of the Episcopal church. He was retired from the USMC after 20 years, and worked for General Electric Missile Space division. Major Lotz is survived by his daughters, Patricia A. Affeldt of Lady Lake, FL, and Michele K. Smith of Broomall, PA; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held through D'Ajolelle Memorial Homes, Broomall, PA. Burial will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Norristown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Juvenile Diabetes Association at CHOPS, 34th Street and Civic Center Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
