Obituary of Diamon Scarduzio
THE VILLAGES — Diamon J. Scarduzio, 83, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011.
Mr. Scarduzio was born in Ossining, N.Y., and moved to The Villages from Palm Beach Gardens in 1997. He was a retired owner of National Plumbing Supply in Ossining; served with the New York Army National Guard; founder of House Watch Services in Palm Beach Gardens; a head usher at St. Timothy Catholic Community; treasurer of 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus and member of 4th Degree Knights of Columbus at St. Timothy; treasurer of New York Republican Party; member of the Double 5 Investment Club; and enjoyed golf, glass working, fly fishing and making his own flies.
Survivors include wife, Jane, The Villages; sons Thomas, Westborough, Mass., and Jack, Stuart; daughters Nancy and Susan, both of Danbury, Conn; sister, Marjorie, Fort Lauderdale; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. with 6:30 p.m. prayer service at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages.
