Obituary of John 'Jack' O'Brien

John (Jack) O'Brien 68, Belleview, FL, beloved husband of Laura, passed peacefully into the loving arms of our Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2011, after a full and wonderful life. Jack was born June 18, 1943 in Dalton, MA, and retired to Belleview in December 2007. He is survived by his son, Darren O'Brien of Truro, MA; daughter, Kelly (Lee) Seltsam of Fort Collins, CO; brother, Rich (Lyn) O'Brien of Marshfield, MA; sisters, Connie O'Brien of Plymouth, MA, and Dorothy (Jim) Howell of Suwannee, GA; brother-in laws, Larry (Joann) Sekscenski of Connecticut, and Kenny (Yvonne) Sekscenski of Connecticut; sister-in-law, Janet (Paul) Danis of Connecticut. He will be much loved and missed by his grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many dear and close friends worldwide. Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy; father, John (Jack); son, John (Jack); nephew, Rich; and step-mother, Marian. He was a US Navy veteran and enjoyed a long and prestigious career in the plastics industry, traveling to all 50 states and many overseas countries. No service will be held at his request.
