Obituary of Ronald Medico

SUMMERFIELD, FL- Medico, Ronald, 69, passed away October 17, 2011. Mr. Medico was born May 25, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Summerfield in 2002. He was a Supervisor for the Postal Service for 22 years. Ronnie and his wife Sandy enjoyed traveling. He was a Board Member of Spruce Creek Golf & Country Club Travel Club and on the Spruce Creek Crime Watch. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Cuban Conflict. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sandra P. Medico (Stockman); brother Joseph Medico; sister, Mary Zaniboni; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert & Shirley Kivlehan; sisters-in-law; Lavon Medico and Fay Medico; 18 nieces and nephews; 36 great nieces and nephews; and 41 great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Francis Medico and sister Jeannette Cochrane. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church with burial in Florida National Cemetery; visitation will be held the evening prior at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages from 5-7 p.m.
