Obituary of James Francis Brady
James F. Brady, 77, of Old Town, passed away Oct. 17, 2011 at Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties in Chiefland. He was born July 3, 1934 in Bristow, VA and moved to Old Town in 1993 from St. Cloud, FL. Mr. Brady was a State Board Certified General Contractor and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Chiefland. He played Semi Pro Football for Orlando Bronco's, bowled on PBA Circuit and played softball. He was a woodworker and built furniture. Mr. Brady enjoyed his grandchildren and was most proud of his family.
He is survived by his wife, June Brady of Old Town, daughter & son-in-law, Jacqueline & Steve Wise of Kissimmee, daughter Susan Alvey of Cheyenne, WY, daughter & son-in-law Paula & Wayne Drury of Trenton, sons & daughters-in-law Steve & Michelle Brady of Kissimmee, and Scott & Lauren Brady of Old Town, sisters Mary Hall of Altamonte, Caroline Corkum of Auburndale, Sr. Donna Brady of NJ, brother Joseph Brady of St. Cloud, 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Chiefland.
