Obituary of Cecilia Mann

Mann, Cecilia Marie Smith, 86 Cecilia Marie Smith Mann, 86, died peacefully at home in Ocala on October 18, 2011. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of Charles Hugh Smith and Olive Campbell Smith. She came to Ocala in 1953 and joined Highlands Baptist Church as a charter member in 1957. She retired from United Telephone in 1987 and served as an auxillary volunteer at Marion Community Hospital for 13 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Mann and sister and brother in law Melba and James Gordon of Tifton Georgia. Cecilia is survived by her son and daughter-in law, Chuck and Sandy Mann, and grand-daughter, Abby Mann of Tampa, sister in law, Reba Barnett of Ocala, and sister in law and brother in law, Margaret and Lester Luffman of Ocala, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank her wonderful care giver, Bonnie Thompson. A funeral service will be held October 21, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Highlands Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Sweet officiating.
