Obituary of Anthony Ferrentino
Anthony "Tony" Ferrentino, age 85, of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. He was born in Jamaica, NY on December 11, 1926. Tony served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a Catholic. During his life Tony worked as an Over the Road Truck driver. He enjoyed cooking, Italian music and going to the horse races. Anthony moved to Ocala, FL from Palm Harbor, FL in 2010. He is survived by his daughter Linda (Joe) DeFalco of Long Island, NY; son Anthony Ferrentino of Tampa, FL; daughter Joann (Anthony) Mauloni of Ocala, FL; brother Carl Ferrentino of Merrick, NY; sister Mary Ann Kempeneer of Clearwater, FL; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A visitation will take place at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 10am until noon with a prayer service at 11:30am. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478.
Contributions may be made to Hospice for The Villagers and Shands at UF Cancer Hospital Garden of Hope.
