Amy, you were such an amazing person, I looked up to you, I admired you, I came to you for advice, and now my heat is broken without you. You were the most giving person I know. Never did you expect anything in return for the gifts you gave, you would give a stranger the shirt right off your back if it was needed. Your love for animals was your gift to the world. This world is short one angel now. I hope you are sorrounded by all the animals you helped to save and their loving paws are around you now! Be at peace you will never be out of my heart or mind. A beautiful person in so many ways, Amy will always be remembered by her giving, caring heart. I believe she was an Angel here on earth to all of the animals she cared for and gave renewed life. I remember some of the pictures of the animals Amy placed on Facebook - sometimes they were very hard for me to look at - but I think those animals in need tugged at her heart even more. I am thankful for the last couple of years that we were able to reconnect on Facebook and will miss you my friend.

Our love of animals drew Amy and I together. She taught me so much on how to raise baby kittens. People come into our lives for all kinds of reasons. A wonderful human taken way to soon. The animals in heaven now have a wonderful saint to watch over them. The Human race and the Animal Kingdom have lost a wonderful person and I have lost a GOOD friend.

Oh Amy, you were taken way too soon. All I can think of is that God wanted you near. My fondest memories of you are running and playing in our yards, reading comic books while pretending to be Betty and Veronica, summers at the local Y, brownie troop and camping trips, and just loving our innocence as little girls as we grew up in our neighborhood. I haven't seen you since those days, but happy to catch your giving spirit through our recent communications. Amy, I have no words on what just happen here. I am devastated. I have thought about you so much lately and wonder how things like this happen. I miss you so much already. We had planned to get together with our next High School Reunion but now we will only have the memory of the last one together. The class of "79" will never forget you and you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest easy girl, we will think of you often.
