Obituary of Robert A. Korensky I
The Villages - Robert A. Korensky, I, 80, died at his home on Thursday, December 29, 2011. He moved to The Villages in 2003 from Worth, IL. He was employed by the City of Chicago and taught at Florence Nightingale School for thirty-six years . He was also the Maintenance Manager of Westgate Country Club in the summer time. Mr. Korensky is the recipient of the Kiwanis Teacher of the Year Award as well as the Student's Teacher of the Year Award. He was a third degree Mason and a member of the Marrs Meyer VFW. Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his three sons, Robert A. Korensky, II, Webster, NY; Bruce A. Korensky, Chicago, IL; Brett A. Korensky, Aurora, IL; two daughters, Beth A. Tomkiw, Phoenix, AZ; Rebecca A. Dickenscheidt, Tinley Park, IL and nine grandchildren.
