Obituary of Bernard Peter Berry

BERRY, JR., BERNARD "BERNIE" PETER, 80 The Villages- Bernard "Bernie" Peter Berry, Jr., died at home on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to The Villages from Amery, WI in 2001. He retired as an attorney from Ameripride Services for over 35 years. He enjoyed golf, attending French class and perpetually studying the French language. He was a member and Past Secretary of the French Club and also a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church. Mr. Berry was also a veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Kay, The Villages, FL; sons, James, Duluth, MN; Joel, Chicago, IL; and Bernard, III, Lakeville, MN; daughters, Carolyn, Washington, DC and Catherin, Andover, MN; five granddaughters, Caitlin, Minneapolis, MN; Kayla, Washington, DC; Siobhan, Omaha, NE; Kendra, Duluth, MN; Jordan, Lakeville, MN; and five grandsons, Sean, Seattle, WA; Liam, Lincoln, NE; Edward, Omaha, NE; Nikhil Berry Bando, Washington, DC; Brenden, Duluth, MN. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 8:30 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4-6 p.m. with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages. Inurnment will be in Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages.
