Obituary of Evelyn Birch

Birch, Evelyn Jeanette, 90 Ocala - Evelyn Jeanette Birch (lovingly known as "Nanny" by all), 90, passed away on January 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born on November 5, 1921 to Andrew Anderson and Marie Viola Eckert Anderson in Long Branch, NJ. Mrs. Birch was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith, and loved going to Flea Markets, and playing video games. She loved her little dog, Chichi. She was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived half of her time with her daughter in Greenville, SC and the other half with her daughter in Ocala. She is survived by two daughters, Donna L. Moore of Ocala and Debra K. Andrews of Greenville, SC; her brother, William Anderson and her sister, Maryann Urban, her grandchildren, Tina Mickel, Maurice A. Markwith, II, John A. Birch, and Dale W. Birch, II; great-grandchildren, Tyler V. Mickel, Brittany L. Markwith, Macy A. Markwith, Jacklyn Markwith, Jesse DeAmicas, Grace Stanley, Dale W. Birch, III, Maggie Mae Johnson, Gracie Gale Johnson and Aaliyah Rosario. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Birch in 1994 her son, Dale W. Birch in 1996, her brother, Albert Anderson and her sister, Helen Elkins, both in 2011. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
