Obituary of Theodore Roosevelt Carino
THE VILLAGES — Theodore R. Carino, 91, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012.
Mr. Carino was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to The Villages from Grand Rapids, Mich., in 1996. He was an aerospace design engineer, a member of St. George Episcopal Parish and a member of the Villages Concert Band and Horizon Band. He enjoyed playing golf, playing his saxophone and remote control airplane. He was an Army Air Corps Band member.
Survivors include his Wife: Jean Carino
Children: Janet Seibel (Julio), Patricia Pasick (Robert), Peter Carino (Don), Phillip (Carolyn)
Grandchildren: Jamie, Adam and Dan, Emily and Jenna and their mother Jo Ann, Jessie
Great-grandchildren: Chelsea, Emily, Jessica, Tyler, Alexis
Preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Petra Machonis.
A memorial service will be held at noon Monday, Jan. 30, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
