Obituary of Frances M. Baxter

THE VILLAGES — Frances M. Baxter, 71, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012. She was born in Providence, R.I., and moved to The Villages two years ago from Warwick, R.I. She was the vice president for the Fleet Credit Corp. for more than 27 years. She enjoyed skiing, golf and neighborhood social gatherings. Survivors include her husband, Walter; daughters Lisa Leith, Lynn Domina, Pamela Burrows, all of Warwick; son, Michael Baxter, Warwick; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Mrs. Baxter will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in The Villages with a visitation and a gathering of family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Villagers for Hospice.
